I find it hard to take time out of my day, or even my week to relax and do something for myself. Whether it be 15 minutes to do a face mask and listen to some music or 45 minutes to take a bath, focus on my breathing, and enjoy the silence, nine times out of ten I prioritize school or work or other people before I prioritize me and my mental health. Getting Back Into the Swing of Things

Mid-August always seems to be the start of the most time-consuming yet enjoyable time of the year. It’s that time of year where new beginnings are within our grasp and we are given the chance (as college students) to build a home away from home. We pack up our lives and are given the chance to start again in a sense. This year I have had the privilege of starting my junior year of college at Indiana University and lemme tell ya..it has been the most exhilarating, exhausting, fulfilling experience.
